How does it work?
The skin tag is frozen by applying liquid Nitrogen (a gas that produces freezing temperatures) to the area. The cold temperature kills the cells within the skin tag, blocking the blood supply to the area and causing it to naturally fall off.

Skin tags are small brown or flesh-coloured growths (usually a few millimeters to 5cm in size) that hang from the surface of your skin. They are made of loose collagen fibres and blood vessels surrounded by skin, and can look like warts or raised bumps. Although skin tags are common they are completely harmless, and they do not usually cause any pain or discomfort. However, they can snag on clothing or jewellery and bleed as a result, and can also lower your self esteem.
CryoPen™ is a state-of-the-art treatment that uses extreme cold, or cryotherapy to painlessly and safely destroy unwanted, benign and superficial lesions on the surface of the skin, such as warts, skin tags, verrucae, milia, cherry angiomas, scars and resistant hyperpigmentation.
Skin tag removal is simple and can be performed in one session.
After your skin tag has been removed, the treated area may feel tender for a few days and will need to be covered. Your practitioner will apply a dressing if necessary to prevent infection and will also provide you with full aftercare instructions.
